Introducing Stand Up Comedy

My name is OLIGIE EDOBOR MICHAEL foolishly sowi comically called TALKIA d only comedian who went to SLOVAKIA wit a KIA just to buy a NOKIA.....am a comedian and sometyms a rhymer. I am from EDO STATE, ORHIONMWON LGA, IGBANKE. I grew up like a normal human being shud just dat my ears are like SATELITE DISH *winks* was raised by a single parent MY MUM who brought me up wit IRON HAND *laughs* e be like say my papa dey inside her cos she always dey act like 2in1..................I attended a village Olige primary and Igbanke Mixed secondary school so if yu call me village head boy yu will not be wrong. I proceeded to AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY EKPOMA, still in EDO STATE where I studied AGRONOMY(soil science)... Did my NYSC in d neighboring Delta state........I fell in love wit comedy @ a tender age #i spoil sha# that time my friends will always call on me to help dem tease someone who looks for their trouble from there i graduated to acting drama(usually comedy) in d church. Cos of my taste for entertainment I joined a drama group called NOBLE DRAMATIC GROUP and in d group I will always be d one to introduce any drama we want to act when we go for shows and in d process I will chip in one or two tynz and d audience will always laff dat was how I started developing d skills of been a stand up comedian Stand up comedy for me started professionally after my secondary school in 2003 when I traveled to Benin for a computer program while I was still searching for admission, there I was always called upon to entertain d audience in any social activities held in the church. All thanks to my uncle(MR. DUKE IGBINEDION) who challenged me to reading books that really brought out my confidence, one of d books which was 'THE ART OF PUBLIC SPEAKING' did d magic like MERLIN. KLINT d DRUNK, JULIUS AGWU, I GO DIE, MALEKE, MIKE OGBOLOSINGER, BASKET MOUTH inspired me.......I av performed alongside EBOH BOMB(ay open mic winner) YOUNGEST LANDLORD(ay open mic winner), GODSON d COMEDIAN, MC KOLIKO(Delta talent quest), YOUNG CHIEF(Delta talent quest) JECONI(Delta talent quest n CEO WOWO na CRIME?) WOKO(delta talent quest) MC BLUTUT, SANCTUARY, PORQPINE(Peak Talent Show runner up), EDO PIKIN(AAU), AKSHUN 1(AAU), CHEWING STICK(AAU)...d list is endless
